FAQ

Fair questions,
straight answers.

What exactly does Brand Scans measure?

Whether AI platforms mention your business by name, cite your website as a source, present you as a recommendation, and describe you accurately — across the questions your customers actually ask. Plus the technical and content foundations that drive those outcomes.

Can you guarantee AI platforms will recommend us?

No — and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. AI responses vary by time, model, geography and phrasing. We measure honestly, show evidence, and prioritize the actions most likely to improve your visibility.

Are your scores official rankings from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google?

No. Scores are proprietary measurements produced by our platform, with the methodology published in every report. No third-party AI or search provider issues or endorses them.

Why do results differ between test runs?

AI models are probabilistic — the same question can produce different answers. Higher tiers run repeated tests and report consistency, so you see rates and trends rather than one-off snapshots.

Do you change our website?

No. We assess and recommend; your team (or agency) implements. Nothing is published or modified without your explicit action.

Is our data isolated from other customers?

Yes. Every workspace is a separate tenant. Data access is role-based, material changes are audit-logged, and you can request export or deletion of your workspace data.

Do you crawl responsibly?

Yes. The crawler respects robots.txt by default, rate-limits itself, and only assesses websites you confirm you're authorized to assess.

Can agencies use this for clients?

Yes — create a workspace per client, invite client viewers, and (on Enterprise) deliver white-label reports under your own brand.
